KLE on 88 RON fuel?
 

Hi,

Anybody adapted a KLE500 for use with really low quality fuel? I'm heading to Indonesia and looking around for a bike that can be readily adapted to run on low octane fuel. Standard fuel in Indo is 88 RON, which causes pinging if the bike is supposed to run on 91 RON or higher.

KLE500 looks promising because it is not computer controlled. I suppose the timing is electronic, but can it be be retarded from factory settings?

Very grateful for any advice/comments about setting up a KLE for touring.
