KLE 500: NGK Iridium Spark Plugs, DR9EIX

Hi there

NGK list an Iridium spark plug option for the KLE 500. The part no. is DR9EIX.

Has anyone tried this in their bike, if so did it give any improvement in performance as claimed? I was thinking of trying it out.

Runnig these plugs in mine seems to run a bit more consitantely when very cold and its a tiny bit more responsive thats about it the only reason i put them is the longer plug life but only time will tell if it was worth it

Three months ago, I was at major parts manufacturer who make race kits for bikes. A customer asked if the iridium plug would give any improvements. The answer was a sheepish no. Incidentally they sell both the iridiums, and the much cheaper standard plugs.
