KLE 500: Hazard Lights Modification

Hi there.

As you all know the KLE 500 does not have any facility for switching on hazard lights in an emergency. It is quite annoying because I am sure this would not have been such a great expense to add this feature on to the bike.

Question: Has anyone attemted to modify the indicator circuit to enable this to work?

Any thoughts.

I guess this is for the sole purpose of assisting broken down KTM's, BMW's, Honda's, Suzuki's..etc? As we ALL know that KLE's NEVER require hazard lights for their own protection!

Yep, you are quite right. The KLE 500 is very reliable.

I was thinking of using the hazard lights for the 7am city commute. Using them on those dark winter mornings.
