KLE 500 - broken?? Help!
 

Hi guys

My KLE all of a sudden has developed a strange problem. It will start and idle. when I take off, as soon as I give it any throttle it will die. I can restart and I actually drove home using the choke!! I only had a few miles to go. As I was approachign home it died for good!

I have pulled the tank and looked at the pet cock. It seems to be working. The filters are ok and I do not seem a problem? Any ideas?

I need to get it back on the road as I want to take a trip next weekend to the west coast of scotland!

Blocked main jets in the carb - blow out with an airline and all should be fine.

Make sure air filter is not blocked as well but sounds more like blocked jets since the choke helps.
