How much does a KLR weigh?

...er, that's it really - 650cc, 2004, standard.

Thanks

Mick

Unfortunately I've never weighed mine, but it should be between 390 and 400 lb. wet weight (for an A model as sold in N. America). Using the manufacturers claimed dry weight of 337 lb and adding 37 lb for gas, 11 for coolant, and 5 for oil (all rounded off), that adds up to 390 lb for an unmodified bike. Perhaps a little more should be added for brake fluid, and possibly even for the water/acid in the battery (different manufacturers define dry weight differently). Assuming the claimed 337 lb dry is reasonably accurate, that should result in a total between 390 and 400.

Sorry I can't be more precise. Anyone out there actually weighed theirs?

Mike
