how easy is it to sell a used one?

hey all. I'm thinking of buying a new KLR650, but I'm a little wary. I'm wondering how hard it is to sell a used KLR. Are these bikes popular even used? I can't find any used ones here in minnesota, so I can't answer this one for myself. Have a lovely day.
p.s. anyone from minnesota or a neighboring state have a nice one they'd sell me?

Hey Wade, I see used KLRs all the time, in fact I bought one. A 99 with 700 miles for $3500. Check out ebay, there are always at least 3 for sale and cycletrader.com has pages. Buy one, you won't want to sell it--

Cheers

They're fun bikes, I doubt you'd want to sell it. However if you decide it's not for you there's a good chance you can recoop most of your money if you buy one that's a year old. Selling privately in the paper you may actually be able to sell it for what you paid!

Thanks Glenn. I ended up driving about 1200 miles round trip to pick up a 99 that resided in Iowa. It had 2500 miles on it, and had barely if ever seen dirt. It was owned by a computer programer who drove it back and fourth to the college he worked at. I'm pretty happy with it. I've got it up to 3200 miles and it doesn't use a noticeable ammount of oil, and cruises down the highway nearly as well as my old K100 did. The only draw back is that it's been called a moped a few times now by some harley fans. I don't think I'll be selling any time soon though.
