Hi i'm new, one question though?
Hi everyone, just bought a 2007 KLE 500 and very impressed with the bike so far. Has anyone suffered regulator problems on thier bikes? I'm asking because my girl friend has an er5 which shares the same engine as the KLE so wondered if they had similar problems? Any advice would be super!

Hi there
I have had regulator problems with my bike. My bike's battery went dead after a few weeks of buying it (2nd hand '98 model, 7000 miles on clock) - the engine had never turned over too enthusiastically when starting. I bought a new battery, and that went flat in a few days too! I then ordered a used regulator/rectifier from a breaker. This made all the difference, and I've had no further problems. I use the bike every day for a long commute to work. Hope that helps.
