GPZ 500 poor response at low revs (Mojacar Spain)
Hi Guys.
2 months in to my tour and at mojacar in almeria in southern spain, Had my bike serviced but the old girl still has poor response at low revs, Carbs are balanced and valves done to spec but still experience bad throttle response from low revs, typicall lumpy feeling. any suggestions would be welcome. Bike has done 19000 miles and is in general good condition, carbs were cleaned at the service (by english mechanic by the way) very annoying this problem!! as at high revs the bike is OK but i tend to just potter along!! HELP PLEASE. Greg |

Carbs
Just a shot in the dark but did anyone look at the vacum diaphrams that raise the slides. Even a pin hole can make for bad slow speed running and yet at full throttle they work fine.

Can't help with the bike problem but while you are in Mojacar get down to the coast strip of town and visit the Winking Frog. Always did a lovely BBQ'd lamb shank with a strong rum and coke (or 3) to finish off
