KLE Carbs

The Manual for the KLE 500 lists the carbs as being Keihin CVK34 carbs.

If I go the the Keihin website, they don't even list the CVK amongst the list of carbs. I'm needing to find out part numbers, or order, float needles for my carbs.

Can anyone advise me?

Hi

Go to your nearest authorised Kawasaki dealer and quote the following part no's:

16030-1007 valve - float (float needle)
16031-1077 float (actual float)
16044-007 clamp, float valve (small clip for float valve)

These part no's cover KLE 500 '05~07. I can email you the parts manual if you dont already have one.

Hi Spye.

When I communicated with you via e-mail on Saturday, I mentioned that I have a parts manual. But it appears that mine is not as comprehensive as yours.

I've attached the carburettor page for you to see the difference.

Would you mind mailing me a copy of the one you have, please.

You have my mail address.

Thanks.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
