Bead Lockers and KLR 650

Get some before you leave home. It scews tyre balance (balance, what is that) but at the very least get one for the rear tyre. It will greatly reduce the chance of tearing your valve stem on rough roads. It happen to me 5 times in Bolivia (not the luckiest of fellows). It (possibly??) matters more if you plan on running knobbies. Anyway, met several people on ladened KLRs with similar stem tearing stories.
