"Zen & the art of cider" - Cheddar, Somerset. 22-24 August

After seeing so many old friends and making friends new at the fantastic Horizons meeting at Donington this year, I hope I can see you all again at a meeting down in Somerset. I can only make two more meetings this year due to work so get your arses to Cheddar and lets drink Cider

Hosted by the ever helpful Gab from Zen Overland, it's a really friendly get together. Fueled by fantastic local ciders, it's a total winner..

More info here..

Its all on the website. You buy the ticket as you would any product. Your name will be at the gate. It's at the lovely Fern hill farm near Cheddar, Somerset.

Sleepdog, is this the same fella riding a Tenere who saved my life a few years ago at Cropton only to have to do it again the following year at another rain sodden event? If so I have a pair of your Sealskin socks I will bring to the site. PS I have washed them!!

If you are not the same guy then ignore this post.

Yep, that's me

Got to look after each other at our age!

Just got back to biking after breaking BOTH my knees a year ago!

I know TED as well from the time we met at Dent and I 'fed' you!

I fancy a ride South, perhaps meet up?

I'm back working again now after my enforced time off so a few s with mates will do me nicely.

Keep in touch on this thread and I will confirm.

Make sure you've clarified what the flow rate of your water bladder tap is before turning up. Ted really wants to know :-)

New to Horizons Unlimited?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
