Patta what is a Hiwian shirt ?

Is it anything like a Hawaiian shirt ?

we are up to 19 so far - I will be ringing the pub to confirm numbers next week as they want a bit notice so if there is anyone else comming get your name down now If your a possible or hedging your bets on the weather give me an indication. Thanks.

If there are vast falls of snow I will probably postpone the do anyway so worry not.

Hi all, I am going to do a recce of the off-road route over the weekend of 23/24th, not sure which day yet. I will post up the conditions and distance of the route after that. If anyone would like to join me for a day's trail riding before the event let me know.

Cheers,

Paul

Hi Paul
Would be keen on joining the recce. Won't be attending the meet this time as wifey needs to be placated on that weekend. My trail bike is a DRZ400 and would van it over to North Yorks. (live in Brighouse, W Yorks). Am definitely free on Sun 24th Jan. On Sat 23rd I might have a work commitment. Will only know on the Fri before if I'm free or not.

Leave a msg here, PM me or email via my website.
Hang loose
Chris

I may be bringing the new man with me to provide added warmth in the tent, he's not a biker but wants to be so he may as well find out what he'd be letting himself in for (eg having the s ready when we get back)!

I also have a spare tent if you want Doug.

This is all assuming the TA can be dug out of the garage by then, the area in front of the flat is currently thick packed icy snow.

See you soon!

Laura

I'd love to join you on this meet, but it looks at the moment as though we have a planning meeting for the postponed Scooters in the Sahara trip to Gambia the weekend of 20/21 Feb. If anything changes I'll be there... Trust there will be camping space if I just turn up unannounced ?

Dennis I am sure we can fit you in no problem - bye the way the site as I recall had trees dotted around so maybe your hammock would work well here.
Jake.

Breakfasts are not the cheapest at £7.00 and I have arranged for tickets to be bought for breakfast the night before at the bar. I think the pub would like to know how many for breakfasts each day sat/sun as they are off season really and need to get supplies - can anyone remember what the breakfasts were like I cant - i think I might have had a fuzzy head both mornings.

I seem to remember that the food was very good in general. The brekkies were good, with the very nice staff bringing us endless coffee, tea and toast. You'll have forgotten about your breakfast as you walked it off very quickly on the Sunday, pacing up + down, waiting for your bike

thanks for the tent offers.. I'm gonna buy a new one, in between a £35 Vango 200 and a £60 Coleman Katz (or someting..). Really pushing the boat out...

I'm also now going to be in London and cycle up from there, probably leaving Wednesday. Well, depends on how the drinks go, could be Thursday :-)

Hopefully get there by Saturday. Going to aim right of Notts, and head up the coast.

£7... For that price I'd be expecting the landlords 21 year old blonde daughter to be waking me up with a bj then and cooking it for me in my tent in her undies.

I'll skip breakie mate...

From what I remember the breakfast was quite filling and wholesome. Yes £7 is a bit pricey but it's compensated for by the free camping.
