Spoke to Bruce at the campsite today, as it stands at present we have the Bankings Field to ourself's which is great! Chris has a bag of wood ready to go on the back of his bike and we have a tarp and a windbreak to give us some shelter from the weather!

Bruce says that the daylight is going around 6-6:30pm at the moment incase you want to plan your arrival to get set up in daylight!

Let me know what time to expect you and I'll try to have the kettle on!

Arrival

Hi - hoping to get there mid-afternoon Saturday. The forecast looks pretty good but I think I'll buy my firewood there!!

I would get funny looks with logs on the back! ( or sectioned ) !!

should be up mid afternoon on Fri as meeting Dave 08 up on Carter Bar @12ish. Just loaded the RH Box on the bike with dried hardwood. Enough for a start anyway. As Rich says forecast for Sat looks not bad.

Milimut - Liz, hope your round goes quickly tomorrow so that you can get to the campfire sooner! Chris is coming straight from work today... he left loaded at 7am whilst I was sleeping... He should hopefully arrive at the same time as Mike!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
