NW Africa and KTM LC4 PreparationBreakout

I was originally scheduled to give a chat to all on my trips to NW Africa at the 2005 UK meeting, but due to personal reasons I can no longer do this.

However, I will give a 'breakout' chat/Q and A session on this popular destination if there's enough interest.

Similarly I also get a few enquiries on preparing LC4s/LC4 Adventures for overlanding - so if there's enough interest I'll do a chat/Q and A session on this - including how to do an oil change in 15mins if I've got to the requisite mileage by the time I attend the meeting.

I'd like to gauge interest so I know what to bring. If you're interested please reply to this post or send me an e-mail stating what you're interested in (NW Africa or LC4s).

The sessions will probably be on Saturday or Sunday morning.

Cheers,

Ian.

Do we have to choose or can we have both?

If its a choice the 15 min oil change gets it for me!!!

It's not a choice - both if enough interest.

Thinking about it the oil change will have to wait - nowhere to dispose of the waste oil. But it all comes down to having a syringe and practice.

I'll attempt a write up but this may take some time.

Cheers,

The NW Africa chat will take place on the Saturday around 1000. I'd like to do it outside weather permitting. I'll bring a few maps and pics. Hopefully it won't last more than an hour or so - I'm on the rideout at 1200.

I won't bother doing the LC4 thing - not enough interest - but if anyone's any questions etc. there's a few LC4ers there.

Cheers.
