Hi Mike,
I won't be leaving till about 11am but if that suits you then it would be good to hook up and ride down together. Let me know if this fits in with your plans.

Hi Shells,
The beard has gone I'm afraid! It was getting too close to ZZ Top to stay! See you there, I'll be on my tatty XT with Acerbis tank PO54 VRG and holding out my hand for that beer!

Matt - 11ish would fit right in with my normal early morning organisational skills. What route are you thinking of taking (A1 or M6), I reckon will probably take about 5-6hours depending on number of coffee breaks etc.

Cheers

Hi Mike,
Excellent, I agree with your timing, 5 or 6 hours including breaks etc. The M6 might be quicker but I seem to remember the A1 is a better road for bikes? I am actually coming through from Dunblane 'oop north' so I can either meet you at your house or some other convenient spot.

Surely you're not going to miss out on the lovely A68from Edinburgh, through Jedburgh towards Scotch Corner.
