Slide/Film shows available for clubs/meetings

For those of you who are interested in having localised meetings either through the contacts you have at the HUBB or within your own circle of friends/bike clubs, I'd be happy to come along and do one of the shows I have done in recent years at the HUBB UK Meetings.

Since last years meetings I seem to have been contacted and asked to repeat quite a lot of shows and have wandered over the country randomly talking about all kinds of biking trips together with with music, slides, film footage, laughing, and Guinness.

Generally I have positive feedback (if anyone who has seen a show wants to comment about the standard/entertainment value please do) and to date have always been asked to return with repeat shows.

I'm not really bothered about payment, although I do ask for my expenses. For smaller gatherings this usually works out about £2 per head. I just want to spread the message that bike travelling is the way forward, and that with very little effort you could be doing some far more unusual travelling than you think.

I have four shows which I commonly show but I can split them, expand on them, or join them to suit personal preference.

1.The trans Am Trail. 5000 miles of Plains, Jungle, Mountains, and Forest in four weeks of extreme heat and outrageous riding off road from the east to the west coast of the USA! The trip of a lifetime.

2. The Finnish All Road Tour. Let the Finns show you what your BMW/Motoguzzi/XT was made for! 5000km of super extreme touring through the bogs/lakes/forests of Lapland...in 7 days....Sauna's, BBQ's, Russian Vodka, and a seriously sore arse...

3. The trip to Morocco with a difference: Bikes in snow drifts, a mugging on the ferry, waylayed by a drug dealer in Fez, lost in an oasis (followed by an accidental theft of a donkey), an accidental visit to a moroccan brothel... it went on. And that was without the great riding and photos!

4. What to do with your annual holidays: You dont need to have months off to have a top biking adventure. 1 week in Scotland/Ireland, 2 weeks in Turkey, 2 weeks in the Pyrenees, 3 weeks in Guatemala, 4 weeks across the Himalayas, 5 weeks across the USA. Rent them, buy them, ride there, fly there. Its all covered including hints tips and costs..

If anyone is interested in these or any other shows you've seen me do then just drop me a personal mail or an Email. I can pop down to your local Pub and make a great evenings entertainment and a few more inspired travellers!

All the best,

Dave

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
