Lift from London to HU 2005 meeting
Hi,
My parents are visiting me end June, all the way from South Africa, and would very much like to come to the HU meeting with me. Poof. There goes my cool biker chick image. I would really like to drive my motorbike to the meeting as my partner and I will be leaving for a transAfrica in October. We would like to use the opportunity to pack our bikes & see how all the gear works. If there is anyone that would be so kind as to give my two very sweet, friendly, South African parents a lift (by car) I would really appreciate it! We could go in convoy. My father is keen to go on the back of a bike but I think the trip would be too long. And my mother would definately not cope. And of course we could go by car if necessary but I just have to ask! (Unfortunately I can't imagine them making it by public transport either :-D). Thanks. Sandi |

Hi Sandi
Just a thought; why not ask the London Community? Mick |

Have you considered hiring a car & driving there? Also allows them to explore the area or take a scenic route on the journey without being dependent on others?
£30-£35 per day car hire + fuel for a 350 mile max round trip (£40-£45?).
