Its a full house !

This years meeting is sure to be the biggest and best yet!
A whole army (well 4) has been working hard behind the scenes to bring you the best possible meeting.
We got 6 specialist stall holders, 5 green lane rideouts, and loadsa people arriving from all corners of the globe - the British Isles, South Africa, Romania, Canada, America, Germany, Holland, Belgium, France, Portugal, Australia and more. All on varied bikes, the GS range of BMW's being the most popular followed by Hondas, Yamahas and a fair few KTM's.
Lots of speakers on varied topics from the deserts of NW Africa (Tiffany Coates) to the plains of America (David Lomax)and winds of Patagonia,(Brian Coles) some of them so fresh back from their trips, they still have Yak dung on their tyres. Some are experienced speakers ranging from Ted Simon and Austin Vince to nervous rookies Jo-Anne Smith and Mark Manley.
As well as the shows several people have volunteered to lead a breakout session on specific subjects.
A full timetable is now on the website and what we want you to do is to pick and choose which show you wish to see.
Nearly everyone seems to be camping though I gather there are still rooms to be had in the area. Camping is behind the pub on a flat grassy field and with a new overflow area there's plenty of space for all of us
We will have flushing loos near the camping site.
New for this year is a movie. 'The Motorcycle Diaries' will play after the last presentation on the Saturday night.
There is a restaurant on site with a carvery on the Saturday and Sunday and a buffet Saturday evening,as well as breakfast and snacks available during Friday and all day Saturday.
You don't need to bring anything except a fistful of cash (just like being on the road) maybe a printout of the timetable. If you have any suitable items to dress either of the rather plain rooms we would appreciate that - sorry bikes not allowed in !

Its gonna be a glorious weekend !

See you soon !

Cars,Jeeps,Caravans,Rickshaws,Donkeys,Unimogs,TutT utts,Motorhomes,
Landrovers,Bicycles,Horses,Handgliders and hot air balloonists are all most welcome but may be frowned upon by some...
Remember this is THE motorcycle travellers meeting of the year !

Thought I was working & unable to make it this year but now looks as if I can make it.

Any chance of going on a waiting list?

If there's space, please post here, I'll keep an eye out & will pay on the day if possible.

New to Horizons Unlimited?

New to motorcycle travelling? New to the HU site? Confused? Too many options? It's really very simple - just 4 easy steps!

Horizons Unlimited was founded in 1997 by Grant and Susan Johnson following their journey around the world on a BMW R80G/S.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
