You can also find gr8 camping and bunkhouse in Tyndrum behind the chippy , its called "By the Way Hostel". Or you can camp at Beininglass farm at Invorannan and spend a night in the Drovers pub. I know the place like the back of my hand as its on the West Highland Way and ive done it so many times ive lost count . He he , if you want any more info just mail me .

I hope you all have a gr8 time and I will see you at Dazzaz shindig in November.

Smile Final Details For This Weekend!

Hi All,

OK! This is the FINAL plan!

Campsite - Beinglas Farm Campsite, Inverarnan, Loch Lomond, G83 7DX. 01301 704 281. B&B, self catering & camping - Beinglas Farm Campsite Inverarnan
£6 per person. Showers included. Campsite shop. No lights in the site so remember a torch.
Check out Google for directions from where your coming from. On the A82 at the top of Loch Lomond, if you find the Drover's Inn on the A85 (big white building, you can't miss it) then the campsite is about 200 yards up the road towards Crianlarich.

Shopping - According to Doug the closest 'real' shop will be Crianlarich (if open) or Tyndrum.
Local Pub - Drover's Inn Drovers and Drovers Lodge Traditional Scottish Inn Loch Lomond

Island Hoping - For those that fancy a bit of Island hoping, Oban is an hour away giving easy access to Mull for a days exploring! Once on Mull riding from Craignure to Fionnphort will take you an hour each way or from Craignure to Tobermory 40mins each way.
OR
You could do a circle... Craignure to Tobermory (40mins), onto Ensay (30mins), onto Gruline (40mins), onto Fionnphort (1 hour) and back to Craignure (again 1 hour). You should beable to do this tour within 4 hours in total excluding stops.

Ferry's leave Oban at 7:30am (arrive 8:16am), or 9:30am (arrive 10:16am), going to Craignure with the last ferry's returning from this same point at 3pm and 5pm costing £27 per bike. Have a look at the link below to calmac for check in times etc!

Inveraray - Another possible day trip... 1 hour each way. This town has a castle and jail amoungst other attractions...
Have a look at this website to find out more! 10 Great Reasons to Visit Inveraray and Visit Argyll

There's loads of other things to do in this area... nice walks and roads all around!

Getting there - If people let me know when and where you are leaving from we can try to meet up along the way!

Doug - 6am on his green steed! When do you think you will arrive?
Beej & Chris - Lunchtime... ish... exact time to be decided from Edinburgh!

Looking forward to it!

Beej

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
