Thumbs up HU Northern Mini-Meet 21/23 Feb at Haggs Bank

Hi all, thought you would be ready for a run out so we will be meeting at Haggs Bank Bunkhouse, Nentsberry, Cumbria, CA9 3LH Haggs Bank Bunkhouse and Campsite - Nenthead, Alston, Cumbria if you want to check it out.

The cost is £18pppn in the bunkhouse, this includes bedding so you can travel light and camping is £8pppn. If you book in for the Friday and Saturday night we will have a free hot meal waiting for you! Tea and coffee will be free all weekend too! Saturday night we will put on a 2 course group meal for £7 a head.

With a great local brewery just down the road, we will be getting in a selection of local s at a very reasonable price which hopefully you can chill out with round the firepit on the Saturday night.

We will be having trail riding and road runs if anybody is interested?
You will need to book in so we know numbers, we will require 50% up front to secure your place to have ring me on 07919092403 if you want any more info, thanks Danny

I'm fairly new to HU but am now an avid forum reader. Planning a 3 month trip, heading to Morocco in April with a mate, so have lots to learn.

This weekend sounds great. Can me and my mate come along for the Saturday & book in to the bunkhouse? How do we book in?

It'll be great to meet some of you and learn from some more experienced travellers, whilst tasting some of the local brewery's finest

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
