Hi Liam and Drew.

Hope all going well for the organisation of HU travellers meeting. Just a question on bringing my motorhome and bike to the event. Is there a place set aside for the likes of motorhomes/caravans?

Cheers

Colly:scooter:

Hi Colly

Thanks for your registration safely received.

Brian in Enniskillen has confirmed that there is room for up to 10 camper vans so you should be ok. But don't forget to also bring the bike as plans are afoot for several on and off road ride outs for those so inclined!!

Sorry for hi-jacking this thread....

Ok, sorry folks for jumping in with a different issue into this thread, but I need some knowledge off some Irish bikers, and this thread has a few gathered already, so...
Basically I'm touring the Americas at the moment, South to North (35,400 km's in now already with a fair bit to go :scooter:), I finish up my trip in New York this Xmas, and I want to ship my bike home with me to Ireland when I'm done. I'm picking up a new bike soon for the rest of my trip, a Canadian-registered V-Strom 650, but the thing is I know nothing of importing a foreign bike to keep (new registration, tax, etc...), and there is always the worry that I won't be able to do it. Does anyone know what the story is with all that, or could they put me on to where I could find out?? It's to the South the bike must go too. Anyone with any info for me, please send me a PM so as not to flood this thread any more, it would be much appreciated. Pints all round for the man to help........

Could you not have picked at a weekend that wasn't my wedding anniversary.....:nono:

I wish you the best of luck with the event and if for any reason the date changes....I will be there.

steve

PS For those who don't know....
"Keek"... Norn Iron for "shite"
"Norn Iron".... Northern Irish for "Northern Ireland"

Sorry Monk, as an Irishman is only a Scotsman with his brains knocked out you should know that the word is "keech", as in "loch.":innocent:
