It's an almost certain yes from me, unless there's some wonderful birthday surprise being planned by the family that I don't know about. If not I get to spend it with you guys.

I definitely have the time off work, in fact, I have the whole week off!
Don't have any firm plans - weather dependent - but hope to explore the trails of Wiltshire prior to arrival or I may nip across the channel.... See you there!

Hey Steve,

Its just me and Gordon now for this weekend as Nads has had to go and work on the Isle of Man at the vet TT. But we will definitely be there and I will do the talk as promised. I'll even remember my laptop this time!

By the way, we'll chip in for Friday food too.

Se y'all in a couple of weeks.

Poor thing

I was browsing the web regarding trails in Wiltshire and found this - may or may not be relevant regarding any organised trail rides:

During Exercise PASHTUN DAWN (27 Aug to 5 Sep) the whole of Salisbury Plain Training Area will be in use and permissive recreational use is suspended (see Salisbury Plain Military Lands Byelaw 8). There will be no access to Imber and Larkhill Artillery Ranges and the permissive stone tracks in the Tilshead, Chitterne, and Shrewton triangle (Copehill Down area) will also be closed. The public are requested to avoid areas where troops are training and to be aware that “back door” areas such as Heytesbury will also be used.

PS - after a week of my campsite cooking I'll definitely contribute to the organised food of this event

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
