GPS Volunteers needed for Ripley meeting
A big thanks goes out to Ian Bradshaw for doing numerous presentations over the years on GPS topics.
This year however he is having to rough it in Australia and therefore unavailable. So we are looking for volunteers to present on GPS - The beginners guide/ which model etc GPS - How to get the best out of it/ tips etc If you think you can do a presentation on either subject please contact me for more details. |

I've signed up to do this.
I use the TomTom Rider on a daily basis, so I can easily base it on that, but if anyone has say, a Garmin, that are were willing to loan me for about 6 weeks of testing on a trip to Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, etc, then I'd happily consider it (and I'll take damned good care of it too). Alternatively, if anyone uses a garmin (for example) on a daily basis, and wants to co-host, or even do a head-to-head between the different GPS units, I'm open to suggestions. I'm back in early June, so have just over 2 weeks after I get back to prepare the presentation in time for the UK presentation. Colm |
