Can I put a marquee up by my tent ?

Just wondering if checking if it would be acceptable to put up a SMALL cheap marquee up by my tent.

For chilling, cooking etc.

There was one there last year. One of those garden shelter things. About big enough for a standard round garden table and about 4 chairs.
