Bristol Area Meet??

Just pooped up on the Email so thought Id' get the Ball rolling for a Bristol Area meet.

Option 1.

A Pub Meet midweek one evening, I'll see if I can organise a food/ drink deal.

Option 2.
A weekend ride out over Local lanes (Byways and UCRs) I'll put a route together and we can go out to play and then maybe meet at a pub after wards??

I'm there

Mr Fox,

Superb, great to see someone take the reigns and put forward an idea. We're so quiet in the south west HU community, it'd be great to have a get together, and make a bit of noise.

My girlfriend Charlotte and I both ride, and got back from a RTW trip in August.

Option 1)
We're both game for a pub meet, name the place and time and we're there. As long as it's not in the next few days, we're in Germany for the Intermot show :-)

Option 2)
I'm all over it, love to do some new lanes in the Bristol area.

Anyone up for this? Don't be shy!

Bristol get together

That would be excellent - a pub in the first instance.

So I have had some responses by email and others Via the forum.

So the plan is, A nice easy trail ride on the 24th October Details to follow. I'll plan a route and bring a freind to act as tail end charlie!

But based on others feed back I shall arrange a Pub meet in the next few weeks somewhere in central Bristol.

Do people know the King william ale house on King Street, Great little pub all the s are by a company called Samuel Smiths. I'm thinking maybe plan a meet there on Weds 3rd November at 7:30.

How does that suit everyone, If i can get a rough Idea of numbers I'll contact the land lord, but it's pretty cheap there anyway.

Howdy doodle.

I have been catching up on all the emails from the Bristol community. Fab to see so much interest. I'm Char, Gabe's girlfriend - some of you know me from the Summer HUMP we organised a few years back.

I wont be up for the trail ride myself, but never ever refuse pub gatherings. I cant do Wednesday nights though. Tues or Thurs are my best nights. Sorry to be awkward.

Thanks for getting the ball rolling chaps. Look forward to seeing you all, and some new faces too.

Spring HUMP 2011 in the works, and details coming soon form Gabe and I! Hope to see you there (low key camping event in Somerset with presentations and ride outs)

Char

Sunday meet up

Sorry I can't make the ride out, but I will hopefully be at the pub for 4 or shortly after - I'll look out for the folk with helmets, alternatively just come up and give me a kick (I'll be the tall fella on crutches),

Looking forward to it, see you all on Sunday.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
