Bristol & Norwich
Complete newbie here...
Just bought Honda C90. CBT on Jan 19th. Got a week off in mid feb. Looking for some good slow ish roads in the area.... Any recommendations or tourist sights i should visit? Planning to be based for 2/3 days in both Norwich city centre and Bristol city centre. As i said complete newbie... any and all tips, hints and advice welcome.... Thanks... Matt

You'll find people here who have crossed continents on a C90 .. but not the week after they passed their CBT!
From Norwich, head through Wroxham to the north Norfolk coast .. say to Bacton ..and then turn left and just keep going. It's beautiful, and the roads shouldn't be too crowded at that time of year.

Hi,
You could try this:- Motorcycle Roads Online: Roads for motorcycle touring in the UK & Ireland It has recommendations for "interesting" roads. (I got the paper copy of this as a Chrimbo present). There is also:- BestBikingRoads.com Motorcycle Travel, Motorcycle Touring, Motorcycle Routes, Motorcycle Roads, Motorcycle GPS, GPS Motorcycle Rides, Motorbike Roads for a lot more places. Where ever you go, I don't think you will be getting your knee down at this time of year however  .

When in Bristol you might want to check out some of the back lanes around Castle Combe / Chippenham direction, or if you fancy a longer trek then takes the minor roads up to Ross-on-Wye.

No substitute for reading a map!
