Glad you can make this one.
I have just had a few day's camping In Dent, and OK'ed it with the site for these date's.

I will plan to have 2 ride leaders for the off roading,One will lead a easy off road ride and one a bit harder, and the two group's will meet up at the same place for lunch.

Anyone wanting to just ride on the B road's and wanting to meet at the lunce stop,I will sort out a map for that.

I'd really like to come along (assuming I'm not on call).

I won't be green-laning though so also happy to go on or help organise a tarmac-based ride out.

Is this a turn up and pay event or will we need to prebook?

last time I was there (summer), you just turn up and pay before you leave. It's pretty laid back and trusting.

There should be loads of room in November

If there is a road ride-out organised, then I would look to stop over one of those nights and join in.

It'll be pretty cold at that time of year

Dazzer - this is causing a real dilema.

Do I do the Dent weekend (SteveD) in October ?

The Dent Weekend in November ??

or the Tibbie Shiles meet in November ??

I've got one more weekend pass fo rthis year, I need to choose it wisely!

Just to add, there are few more BOATs in the Lakes now too, just waiting for the deffinative map to be updated.....

Hi

Yes there will be a road ride to meet up with the off road ride for lunch.

Bring a good sleeping bag and you will be fine...

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
