Any meets in Argentina/Sth America late 2011?

Hi I will be travelling south from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia (nov/dec '11) then north up Sth America to Colombia early next year.

Looking for HU meets/travelling buddies/events/anything.

Also looking at purchasing bike in Argentina (preferably BuesAires) sometime in the next 2 months (se/oct '11).

Anyone with similar plans, would love to hear from you.

Hi,

There is always one in Viedma Argentina early December. Details to come when I get a minute! See the meetings page for previous event details.

Bikes purchased by foreigners in Argentina cannot legally be taken out of the country. If you do a search on this topic there's a mine of information about where to legally buy a bike on this continent.

HU Viedma meeting is 9/10/11 December.

Regards, Mick

Hi Max
we've had the same problems around the same date -
now we found two nice Transalps 2005 in Santiago, as Bs As really didn't work for us... I guess you decided similarely, let us know

now we are in Valparaiso, heading south tomorrow -
If your not on this side of the Andes, we meet in Bariloche or in Viedma I think...

saludos & cuidado!!

Hi Max,

We wo't make it to the meeting in Argentina, perhaps we can arrange a minimeeting on some cool campsite with a lot of , wine and beef somewhere?

Our plan, roughly:
now in Colombia
beginning December into Ecuador (insurance expires ;-)
end of December into Peru
2nd week of Januari we wnat to see some cross event we've heard about ;-)

after that, to Bolivia....
next, no idea
Perhaps we can meet somewhere?
