Smile back in Bolivia

Hello all,

yes, please keep the photos coming ... as I did not take any.

so, I made it back to Bolivia to my little cabana in Samaipata two days ago, just in time for the End of the World party today.

Viedma 2012. I rode 7200km in total to join the meeting and I had a very good time talking to friends and meeting other travellers. My old Africa Twin made it without a single problem, I only changed the oil once and the front tyre in Sucre before riding the Ruta del Che again.

Thank you very much Oscar and Nancy Knecht for hosting this meeting for ten years now. Thank you very much for connecting and helping travellers for ten years.

Merw, pls post the photo of all on the beach here, and thank you and Sarah for the coffee and keeping the cold.

I wish you all a Happy End of the World today ...

Saludos
Mika

Hola

Hola Werner and Claudia
Thank you for posting the link to your report here, very good to read and good pictures. 24000kms on a tyre is quite a lot with your heavy bikes ....

HAPPY NEW YEAR to all

Hola Merv & Sara

Unfortunately the Viedma HU Meeting for this year is cancelled, a real shame...

What about Christmas at BA? Are you coming?
What about Rosario for Dakar Rally start or John & Annette Finca – San Rafael for the Dakar too?

Saludos

There is always a great time at Ushuaia for Christmas, usually 50 or more bikes and some 4wd folks too.

Oscar is unable to run the Viedma meeting this year for personal reasons, but says Viedma will be on again next year!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
