USA East, Stecoah, North Carolina, USA, August 5-7, 2011

USA East, Stecoah, North Carolina, USA

Full details and Registration open now!

Please spread the word to your friends, and download the poster on the webpage and post it up everywhere!

If you haven't been, the riding in the area is fantastic, and the facilities are about as perfect a motorcycle campground as you can imagine - it's all right there, and the food is awesome!

We are now accepting applications from presenters for putting on a show, it can be on any bike related traveling topic. If you've been on a big trip, learned a few things, or have technical expertise or at least good experience on any topic of interest to our travelers please sign up! For some more ideas on what YOU COULD present, see the UK Meeting.

We are also looking for volunteers as usual! We had an excellent crew last year doing a range of activities. It takes help from volunteers to put on the meeting and this year we'll need a few more. When you register for the event you'll have an opportunity to volunteer, and we'd greatly appreciate it if you'd help out for just a few hours. It's a GREAT way to meet people too!

I hope to see YOU there!

I agree...this was an amazing meeting in 2010...I'm hoping to return and enjoy hearing stories of other bike trips, if schedule permits!

No worries, as long as you have confirmation of payment you're fine! We've been so ridiculously busy we've been unable to keep up. BUT we do have all payments and registrations, so all is good. Thanks for your support and good to hear you enjoyed the DVD's!

See you there!

OK stop in to say hi?

We live not far from Ironhorse, but was unaware of this event. The Georgia BMW club is up for the weekend, staying over at Cruso, and unfortunately I have a commitment there.

Is it ok to stop in on Saturday morning to say hi?

Ian

I'm heading down from Ontario Canada on Wed. and hope to be there later on thursday. Grant and Susan were at our shop earlier last week and we hope to stage an event in Ontario next year. Coming down to see my first event and get the scoop on hosting next year.

See you all soon.

Cheers

I'm back home after riding 80 butt numbing miles. Had a great time and and I am really considering Mexico next Spring. I hope every one makes it home safely only to load up and head out again! Until next year (or somewhere on the road)!

Oh, yeah here is another photo of my granddaughter!!!!!!!

USA East Meeting

That was a fabulous meeting. I really enjoyed talking with everyone and seeing all the bikes decked out in their endurance finery. definitely plan on returning next year and keeping tuned to the Horizons Unlimited web site, forum, and ezine.

And to think, I almost let my best friend talk me out of riding my motorcycle to Central America.

Best regards to all, Beth from Boone

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
