He spends part of his time in Bulgaria with his girlfriend and his moto camp, part on the road, and part in the USA!

We cannot wait to go to our first Motorcycle Travellers meeting. We are wondering if in this one there are rides scheduled to do around the area.

We don't lead rides for insurance reasons, but there is loads of information at the venue for you to do your own ride or join others for an informal group ride.

Our main focus is on meeting other travellers and sharing information, and slide shows on travel plus tech clinics.

I will be in with some friends riding from Florida.

I will be arriving Friday night. I will be on a BMW GS with every Touratech accessory you can think of. Look me up and have a map in hand. I live in the area and can show you enough roads to keep you as busy as you want. I will warn you, though, this is more of a "seminar" type event than a riding event. I rarely start the bike until Sunday morning while attending a traveller's meeting. You will learn more than you thought humanly possible if you hang around for all the presentations. I usually bring lots of paper to take notes. Grant could get rich if he sold HU stationery at the meetings. :eek2:

Does anyone have or know where to find GPS tracks for the area both on and off road routes?

Also does anyone know the law regarding motorcycle travel on ATV trails in the area?

Just got into Asheville but left the bike in Tusayan (grand canyon) as i jumped in a car with a few mates to do a road trip across the US so wont be able to make it out to Iron Horse, that's the 2nd meeting I've missed in the US in 3 weeks damn!

Trying to rest after a butt numbing 1.5 hour ride home. :scooter:

It was great seeing old friends and making new ones. Hope every arrives safe wherever you destination should be!

Just returned from the meeting. Thanks to all the presenters, Grant & Susan, & Mike & Janet!!! Great info and a great time meeting others of the same mind. We head out for South America in December. Hope to see some of you on the road!

That was my first meeting and I did really enjoy meeting so many of you guys I only knew accross post . Great info and a superb opportunity to meet traveller from everywhere.
