HU Travellers meeting Holland / Belgium

In the past there were some people trying to organise a HU meeting in Belgium. This didnt work out due to several reasons.

Anyone interested in trying again to setup a HU meeting in Belgium/Holland for the next year ?

Living in Holland at the border near Ghent.

Vincent Danna is also interested in a Meeting in France - perhaps if you got together with anyone else in the area, the two of you could get one started SOMEWHERE on the continent!

Perhaps u could form an alliance with www.travelmaniacs.nl, there is already a meeting scheduld at the end of september including some travelreports and 100km allroad trip...

To start the whole i am thinking to set a date : first/second weekend of july 2006

Place : my place in Holland ; its about 2 hrs south of Amsterdam - 3 hours north of paris - 1 hour from seaport Zeebrugge (ferry from hull) and a good 3 hrs from Rurhgebiet Germany.

There is accomodation in my area. We have a motocross circuit where we can hold the meeting (suitable for camping) and there is also a private 4x4 track.

If there are no comments about the date and place within the next month i will start to setup things to get it started.

Hi Derek-Jan,

Sounds good to me - but second week, not first. It should be more than one week after the UK Meeting, set for June 23-25 for 2006.
