Talking Colorado HU Travelers Meeting

The Fifth Annual Colorado HU Travelers Meeting will be held in Gunnison, CO, August 27-30, 2009

Registration is open here

Hal Johnson and Brad Tutor have put a lot of work into organising a location, food and all the rest of it, and it's going to be fantastic! A great chance to get in some new and exciting rides in the surrounding mountains.

If you'd like to put on a presentation for us, whether it's about your big trip, or any technical subject that would be of interest, please let me know here. We're always looking for new subjects and presentations!

I look forward to seeing you there!

Grant

Thoughts on meeting

I've not yet attended an HU meeting but look forward to doing so. Many of us either have taken an adventurous trip or are planning one. It would nice if a couple of hours could be set aside for breaking up into general topics i.e. Latin America, RTW, Asia etc. Small groups comparing notes and answering questions would be beneficial. Perhaps this is already part of a typical HU meeting. Thanks
Bob

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
