I had a great time there last year and would like to tell uninformed travelers when the next one is going to take place. Hey, just a reasonably level place to camp and the folks that show up can provide thier own entertainment. Did I ever tell you about the time in mexico on valentines day when I had 4 people riding in/on my sidecar?

If we could just get the month down at least to plan the summer. Also if their is any help needed, I can offer what I can from Oklahoma and would be glad to do so.

Richard, thanks for the offer - we'll hold you to that!

Think July as the most likely, possibly the weekend after 4 July. That is NOT definite - but we're looking at it and trying for that - lots to coordinate if we can pull off our plans/ideas.

I'm more frustrated than you guys are at not having the date set, I can assure you!

Keep prodding though...

Grant

I watched the Horizons Unlimited video, filmed at the Colorado event, and thought it might be kinda cool to go down. Especially if Jim Hyde is giving his off road riding tips again. Unfortunately, it looks like summer is pretty much booked up but if I had an idea when the meeting is I might still be able to squeeze it in...

Grant, et al:
I had a great time at last years HU meeting in Buena Vista, my first exposure to the world of HU. So, I am hoping to see another in Colorado this summer. I know it takes a lot of planning and I'd be happy to help to the extent I am able, so let me know what might be needed. I am in Fort Collins, northern Colorado. I will email Chris R., too.

Here's hoping for a return to Colorado

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
