Should be there

My girlfriend and I just returned from a RTW on 2 xt250's.

If we can make it will be there. I think will have a DVD edited by then or we might be able to do a presentation.

Looking forward to it.

Rides at Nakusp

Hi, I'm almost local to Nakusp (Trail BC), and am thinking of coming up for a couple of days. What rides have you done from Nakusp. I am on a DRZ400. This would be my first overnight and longest trip from home (ahh)

Talking We will be there with a motorhome

We will be at the Canadaian meeting with our Australian Neighbour Caleb Wiles. This time we will be in a 30 foot motorhome!
We normally travel on a 6 foot Yamaha Super tenere XTZ750, please forgive us and keep some room in the campground for us!

Cheers, Patrick and Belinda Peck

Patrick,

Please contact the campground directly and reserve a motorhome space, as we are putting several bikes in each camping space, and they are all "non-motorhome" spaces. Motorhome camping fee isn't included in your reg fee, sorry!

Tell them you're with us and you want to be close by.

This will be my first HU meeting. Attending with a buddy (first time also) and a couple of new friends. I've heard lots of great things about the HU community and I'm really looking forward to the trip!

Off road to the Meeting from Calgary

If you're leaving from the Calgary area, and interested in riding FSR as much as possible, contact Dave at Anderwerks in Calgary.

Truck leaves on the 24th if you want to ride and send gear to the Meeting.

It looks like I am totally incapable of riding to some sort of a schedule, so I might actually be there on my way south.*

*Unless distracted by pretty scenery, moose, attractive women, or the lure of warmer weather.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
