Calgary to Nelson meeting minimal pavement
Two of us will be heading to the nelson meeting from Calgary area on friday (Sep 9th I believe). We will be sticking to gravel and dirt roads as much as possible. If any one wants to join us drop me a line at blair.r AT shaw.ca
Partial route is truck road south to dutch creek road, then to fernie. From there whiteswan FSR then to Kimberly. Kimberly over gray pass. This route is suitable for big bikes as long as it isn't too wet. I tried gray pass a few years ago in late june but it was snowed in still so this will be a rematch. On that note if any one has a GPS track of the powerline trail it would be great if you could send me a copy. Thanks ... Blair
