XRV750 parts availability in US

Last week I shipped my AT from S. Petersburg to NewYork by Ro-Ro ferry. The big journey started but I missed one important thing. Honda have never sold AT in US. I am checking ebay every day but can not find aftermarket sprockets, and brake disks. The disks are available but it is nameless product most likely made in chinese village. I prefer to get the parts from well known manufacturer (EBC, Breaking, Lucas, Sunstar, JT, etc) even it have been made in China. Does anybody have a suggestions where I can buy or order it in States?

Alex

No problem, if you can not get them in th US get them in Germany:

Daten der HONDA XRV 750 (RD07) in der Louis Bike-Datenbank - Louis - Motorrad & Freizeit

Brake Discs
10043611 LUCAS BRAKE DISC, FRONT MST204,DIAM.276MM,FIXED 119.95€
10043642 LUCAS BRAKE-DISC, REAR MST325,DIAM..256MM,FIXED 99.95€

Louis is OK, relyable and fast...

take care about import tax and shipping cost.

The 1989 Transalp was sold in the USA and there are a lot of similarities between TAs and ATs, as you know. I think the output shaft on the TA and AT are the same, hence front sprockets will be identical. I'd be surprised if rear sprockets are much different too.

Likely that brakes will be similar with similar pads. FWIW, the Suzuki DRZ400 front (left) brake caliper is identical to the left front AT caliper. Maybe put up a post here on over on ADVrider asking about commonality of consumable parts? Also ask at www.xrv.org.uk Lots on stuff for 1 Jap bike will fit on another Jap bike.

FWIW, the big TA thread over on ADVrider is Show us your TransAlp modifications! - ADVrider

Hi Alex,

We had the same issues with our AT's in the US. Seems very biker has had a poster above it's bed of the damn bike, but no parts!

Honda-parts (and quite cheap, we also didn't have to pay any import tax in the US... and tax free from the UK) David Silver Spares - HOME

Sprockets: &#9733 MOTO-CHAINS - Motorcycle and ATV Chains for Racing and Street
After 3 weeks of sweat and tears, these guys could deliver me 3 sets of sprockets of JT! reasonable prices too, great guys. Say hello to Jay from me!
I will order a few sets again soon at this place!

Chains: easy, but the length is a bit of an issue; you'll have to cut a 130-long chain to length. In Arizona we had great help and service from Dillon @ Zenmotostore.com. great guy, will help you out with almost anything!

good luck,
Daan
