XR600 prep
Hi All,
Just got my new XR600 and am beginning prep to do the TransAm Trail in Jun / July 05. Bash plate, bars and gearing is sorted. I'm thinking of doing wheels next. Initial plan was to keep Honda hubs, but fit some Excell rims. Anyone got any thoughts on this? I noticed that Chris Scott, in his Desert Riders pages refers to someone called Roger who replaced the rear spokes of his XR650L with galvanised items. Anyone know who Roger is? (Chris?) Mike |

Talon, Central Wheel Components or Hagon are all capable of doing a good job also.

save yourself the aggro and don't do it! Chris had several breakages where others had none. Honda wheels are bloody great so don't mess with them if you don't need to, but do keep an eye on spoke tightness
