XR600 Performace mod will decrease reliability?

Hi!
Next January i will travel from Portugal to Tombouctou in my Honda XR600.
I totally rebuid and overbored my top end with a 628cc Wiseco. I also installed a Hotcam camshaft...
Since almost every RFVC heads develop cracks and i recently red about valve seat drops and something regarding performance camshafts influence in valve seat drop, i 'll be happy to have any comments on those mods and influence they may have in the engine reliability...

Best Regards

I am told the Weisco rings do not last very long compared to OEM. But agian, it's a Honda. My 650L ged along with about 5mm slop between the piston and the bore. i would go for it and see what happens.

Hello.
I've done a few trips in Africa on XR600R,with or without the mods you made.
I reacon that after 10,000 to 15,000 your engine will start useing oil,and from that point it's a steep way down...if you load the bike with about 30kg,it will get hot,so maybe a small oil radiator shold be considerd..
Enjoy this lovly bike!
