Xl650v oil drain plug
 

I know I must be daft, but I can't find the oil drain plug on my transalp. Somebody put me out of my misery please.

Also, can anyone tell me how often oil filters need to be changed?

The drain plug is at the front, left hand side of the engine hiding behind the bashplate.

Oil & Filter changes are every 4000 miles.

If you want the engine to last forever (and they can) change the oil every 4000km.

Don't overtighten the bolt now will you.
