XL600LM(pd)-unregular idle speed

Hi,

Does anyone has some experience with unregular idle speed?I'm sure it has something to do with the carburators.
Maybe adjustment from the airscrew or is it some valve or jet that doesn't work proparly?
Hope somebody has experience with this.Just wanna know what is is,otherwise you start adjusting different thinks and that's not my way of working.
Thanks!!

Greetings from Jurgen

I'm no expert in carburetion so I can't help you much there, but I do know that air leaks can cause idle problems. Make sure you don't have any air leaks on the intake manifold. The way I've always checked is to spray starting ether at the gaskets, and if your idle goes up, you know you have a leak.

Good luck,
Wright

Let me know and I'll get back to you, although good advice above
