more forum discussion on this I made my own too. you dont need a big one. keep is small so you dont need a steering damper!

Thanks, I seen that. I am thinking about fabbing one from styrofoam then covering with a fiberglass wrap, not to tall just enough to take some wind and cover some electronic stuff. The over the bars type wrecks made me think of the wrapped foam. What do you think of that idea?

I found if the screen is too big and then you crash,(over bars) the screen takes a hit and squaushes the instruments I made one out of a piece of aluminium recently -its good, it bends and you can bend it back after a crash.
