Wheels

Does anyone know if the wheels on the Dommie are the same as a transalp. I have a 96 model alp and the same year (ish) dommie looks to have the same wheels.

Both are 17 inch.Delivered to Honda.I don´t know about the brake drum/disc if it fits.
But the rim should be fine.

Reasonably sure the NX is the same as the XL up to the advent of twin front discs on the TA. Both NX and XL have the same speedo gearbox too - again, up to the twin disc XL models. I looked at the similarities a while back and I'm near certain the NX front 21" is exactly the same as the single disc XL600V right up to the last NX models. Not sure about the rear 17". That obviously depends on whether you need the rear to have a disc or a drum - both were fitted to the NX and XL.

Alternatively we have an excellent wheel builder here in Pompey (assuming he's still alive that is), but that would mean entering enemy terretory for you! I can't stand football, but those that do like it around my way seem to prefer the colour blue to red for some reason...

P.S. I'm a refugee that went to school in Chandlers Ford, but don't tell anyone!

many thanks, i think your right, although this will have to be prooved in the near future. I've got the feelers out for a set of wheels for either. Do you by any chance have that chaps name/number/details. I recall this chap was quite good, someone in the TRF mentioned him a few years back. Pompey isn't too bad these days, I could take a look at that tower at the same time which took so long to build. Football isn't my thing either.

I'd be interested to hear how you get on at the moment of truth (e.g., do they fit...?). If you ever get over to see the Spin-Knacker Tower (ooh, doesn't it look white now it's finished....) call in for a coffee/beer!

Many thanks for his number, I need my XR250 front wheel fixing (didn't keep spokes tight)and for the record about alp wheels, dommie wheels are the same and I got one for £30, fitted it and flew through MOT and now up for sale.
