What fuel pump??
Hi one and all,
I've just got an Elkamet rally rear tank of a BM rally bike and I need to fit a fuel pump to allow it to feed my XR400. Does anyone have any experience in fuel pumps and what to look for? what type should I fit? Vac/electric How is best to plumb them in to the vac system etc and does anyone know of there's any advantage of using any particular type? Hope you can help. Passpottone

Fuel Pump
Hi,
I think that the best and most reliable option for your problem is to fit a vacuum pump from MIKUNI. I have fitted one in my Africa twin for a 56 litre tank. You can order it and buy it at the African Queens website, costs arround 70€. Very simple to fit. www.africanqueens.de Regards Nuno Leotte

just get a electric car fuel pump and pump it from the rear tank in the main tank when you switch to reserve
