Wanted - transalp or african twin
Looking for a TransAlp or African Twin for a South American tour. Located in California.
Any leads? Thanks! Kevin

There are very very few Africa twins in the USA. They were never sold here. Transalps were sold for just a few years; in the recent past they have become pretty desirable, as owners have held on to them and come to appreciate their reliability and flexibility. This mean that they are often rather overpriced. They come up regularly on ebay.
How about something a little smaller? I have been touring on my TA for three years and rarely use anything like its full power; in South America this is even more true no? I have seen NX250s on California streets. They look pretty good to me. DR650s are dead cheap in north america also. Just a thought...
