Wanted borrow or buy AT rear tanks

Hey Guys,
I am after a set of rear fuel tanks for a RD07a africa twin. I am not sure that this is the route i want to go down so i am hoping some kind sole will allow me to fit em for a hour or so.. to make sure they meet my needs.. (

But if all else fails any one got any for sale.. other option is for me to just see them long enough to pirate the design and i make my own..

Cheers guys

The budget option...

Xander, have you thought about strapping a couple of 10 litre plastic jerry tanks to the back of your panniers (if you're taking hard luggage)? They can be cheap and almost hassle free.

Yeah that is plan C (well A actually). I just really like the idea of the extra tank being inside the panniers, and central to the bike.. I think I would have liked then to go on the bottom of my panniers .. but this has it own set of issues.. The other issue is that i like the idea of putting the fuel on the bike so things like jerry cans on/below panniers can be use for water.. (I have been called a hydration nut).. but my work shows me exactly what dehydration can do to a person.. and it does worry me... :nono::funmeterno:

(in the desert: 5 litres h20 a day , 2 people..always carry at least an extra days worth.. it only takes two days and I am already talking about 30kgs of weight)..

Over in XRV.ORG, I am talking about constructing something that will go in the Bike's underseat storage area, and then moving the tool box to somewhere else (africa queens like). I really am not sure what the best solution is.. but I have a while..

C you all at the meet on the weekend:funmeteryes:
