tubeless kit for spokes rims
hi all i just found that kit ,
it makes your spokes rims tubeless ,does any one tried it ?
can any one give us feed back about it or his opinions

Why.. flats on a tubeless tyre are

Easier to fix - plug the tyre and reinflate in most cases.
Less frequent ?

Having said that, I'd still carry a tube and tube type repair kit just in case you get a flat you cannot fit with a plug. That applies for all tubeless tyres - original or converted.

i can add its really so hard if you are travelling abroad with very loaded bike and you have puncture by after noon ,,so you reload you gear all of it fix it and then you have to camp closer to that place no matter is it a safe place some where in the jungle or in middle of thunder storm
so Warin ,BMW did you ever heard of that kit ?

The only bike I ever had problems with flat tyres was the only bike I had with tubeless tyres. Funnily enough the same problem as with the only car with which I had problems. Air leaking past the seal between rim and tyre bead. On both occasions it was with alloy rims. Never had a problem with steel rims on cars with tubeless tyres.. Ended up running the alloy rimmed tubeless tyre with a tube on my BMW After several attempts to seal it, even changed for another new tyre.

I'd say the rim was damaged. I've had 2 tubeless rims repaired - they leaked from flat spots.

Nope, no damage, but the surface was not really smooth due to corrosion.
Plus all four newish wheels of the car failed the same way, on hard cornering would allow air to escape and went flat almost as fast as a blowout. never had a leak with tubeless tyres on steel rims in near 50 years of driving.

The thing is, corrosion on a rim with a tubeless tyre and no tube is a problem, with a tube fitted is not a problem. I would be unlikely ever to buy a car with alloy rims, or one with a "spacesaver" spare wheel or run flat tyres. The reason is I often have 300 mile runs to catch a ferry and time is critical.

Yer takin cars I'm takin bikes...

I'd not purchase anything with "spacesaver" spare wheel. Spare wheels should be that, anything less is not worth carrying.

I know 'runflat' tyres are very heavy... and costly. I think they are not worth the price and weight to me.

Spacesaver spare wheel - luxury! The last two cars we bought just came with a tube of gloop and a pump. We did get a free teddy bear though with the one we bought a few months ago. It now sits in the boot where the spare tyre ought to go.

Remember with TL conversions it's important that your rims feature that bead-retaining lip either side of the well to seal the tyre. (see this pic).

I tried the Tubliss liners but next time I think would go with self-sealing, as it with this kit. Tubliss requires very high pressures which your average compressor might not manage on the road.

I like the way this guy did it.
