Transalp crashbars & centrestand

Does anybody know which make of crashbars can be fitted to the 600TA without removing the centrestand?

Anyone bought from this guy?

eBay.co.uk: HONDA XL600V XLV 600 TRANSALP CRASH BAR ENGINE GUARD (item 190086246955 end time 05-Mar-07 19:38:22 GMT)

Look forward to your thoughts.......:thumbup1:

Are you sure that this requires the removal of the stand? Why is that? The rear fixing points appear to be on the rider's footpegs.

There are a couple of crashbar designs for the TA. This is the better of the two, having stronger fastening points. I have the other one, which looks tougher but isn't .

Hi Simon, sorry if I wasn't very clear in my last post. I'd heard that for some TA bars (GIVI, I think) the centrestand has to be removed to fit them. What I should have asked was what brands of bars fit with the stand in place!

The bars in the link look fine at the rear mounting as you say, although the front looks like it attaches at the radiator mounts. Is this a strong enough point?

I was interested to find out if anyone had bought from this seller previously, as I've emailed him regarding the mountings and what brand the bars are, but I've had no response. I don't want to shell out the cash without knowing if they're a quality make and how they fit.

Sorrry again for the confusion.
