Speedometer Drive Plate
My speedometer died and upon investigation I found that the speedometer drive plate cracked - it is not the nylon speedo drive gear that normally wears out - it is the metal plate that fits behind the speedometer gear unit. Neatly cracked right through just behind on of those little upturned lips.
I've installed a new plate and less than 300 km later - same result... Any ideas? Is there a trick to the installation, or am I just unlucky? Thanks - Christiaan ------------------ Honda XRV750 African Twin (1994)
