spare parts and service for my africa twin
for a long trip through Africa what spares i need to have with me /
my bike is rd07 1996 with almost 40000 km on ,what service i need for it ? sorry for my silly post , but i live in Egypt ,no Honda dealers here cheers |

You don't say how far is Long?
I did this before a 13,000mile trip: Replacement fuelpump and a spare regulator/recifier most likely. Oil and Oil filter. Washable airfilter if you're going somewhere dusty (Pipercross, for example) Definitely service those front brakes (ATs need brakes). I changed just my clutch friction plates to be safe. Spare front sprocket for sand riding - possibly modify your front sprocket cover to let the sand escape. Not much else.
